Storekeeper – FMCG to support its fast-paced warehouse and supply chain operations in Riyadh. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in inventory control, stock handling, and warehouse documentation within FMCG, food, or retail environments.

Job Overview

The Storekeeper – FMCG is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, control, and issuance of goods across dry, cold, and freezer warehouse facilities. The role requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with inventory systems, and the physical ability to handle stock in temperature-controlled environments while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes
Ensure accurate storage of goods in dry, cold, and freezer areas
Issue materials to internal departments, production units, or retail outlets as required
Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems regularly
Follow FIFO / FEFO stock rotation principles to minimize waste and expiry
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and support audit activities
Identify, record, and report damaged or expired items as per company procedures
Monitor and log temperature readings for cold rooms and freezer storage
Coordinate with procurement, finance, logistics, and operations teams
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a Storekeeper in FMCG, food service, hospitality, or retail warehousing
Practical knowledge of dry store, cold store, and freezer operations
Experience using ERP / WMS systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or similar platforms
Familiarity with barcode scanners and warehouse documentation
Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation and stock control procedures
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, stacking, and organizing stock
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred)
Valid driving license is an added advantage
Basic understanding of warehouse safety, hygiene, and food handling standards

Work Conditions

Willingness to work night shifts or rotational schedules
Comfortable working in cold and freezer environments
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays when required
