Job Overview – Housekeeping Linen Porter
Premier Inn Dubai Al Jaddaf is currently hiring a Housekeeping Linen Porter to support the smooth daily operations of the housekeeping department. This is a vital behind-the-scenes role that directly contributes to guest comfort by ensuring the availability, cleanliness, and quality of hotel linen.
As a Linen Porter, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, distributing, and tracking linen supplies while maintaining hygiene, safety, and organizational standards. This role is ideal for candidates who are physically fit, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a hotel environment.
Key Responsibilities

Receive clean linen deliveries from external laundry vendors and verify quantities against delivery documents

Inspect linen quality to ensure it meets Premier Inn brand and hygiene standards

Sort, store, and distribute linen to housekeeping staff and floor linen rooms
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic linen room at all times

Collect soiled linen from room attendants and prepare it for vendor collection
-
Monitor daily linen usage and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor

Identify damaged, stained, or worn-out linen and arrange for replacement or disposal
-
Maintain basic records related to linen stock levels and usage
-
Follow all hotel health, safety, and hygiene procedures

Report any safety risks, maintenance issues, or supply concerns promptly
Requirements & Skills

Good physical fitness with the ability to lift and move heavy linen loads

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Reliable, punctual, and responsible work attitude

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Basic English communication skills (spoken and written)

Knowledge of hygiene, safety, and linen-handling standards

Previous hotel housekeeping or laundry experience is an advantage
Experience

Ideally 1 year or more experience in a similar housekeeping, linen porter, or hotel support role
