Job Summary – Public Relation Manager

Shangri-La Jeddah is hiring a Public Relation Manager to lead the hotel’s PR, marketing, and communication strategies. The role focuses on enhancing brand visibility, managing media relationships, creating compelling content, organizing PR events, and supporting crisis communication initiatives.

The ideal candidate will oversee daily PR operations, support marketing activations, and execute campaigns aimed at strengthening brand identity and driving revenue growth.


Key Responsibilities

Public Relations & Media Management

  • Maximize brand visibility across print, digital, radio, TV, and social media platforms.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key industry stakeholders.

  • Prepare and distribute press releases, arrange interviews, and promote the hotel’s services and events.

  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all external communication channels.

  • Track, analyze, and influence media coverage across markets.

Branding & Creative Content

  • Create compelling written and visual storytelling aligned with the brand identity.

  • Execute high-quality marketing and PR campaigns.

  • Develop creative content using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere).

Event & Campaign Management

  • Organize PR events, media gatherings, and promotional activities.

  • Support brand activation initiatives and hotel marketing campaigns.

  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare PR reports.

Crisis & Reputation Management

  • Manage sensitive issues with professionalism to uphold the hotel’s reputation.

  • Assist the Director with crisis communication planning and execution.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Creative Designing, Graphics, E-commerce, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Social Media Management & Graphic Designing.

  • Strong proficiency in English (written & verbal).

  • Expertise in Adobe applications: Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere.

  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage long work hours when required.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
